AERONET Instrument Troubleshooting Interface - Solutions for SD CARD STATUS Flag
Description The Model T control box writes a local copy of all measurement data to an onboard SD card as a backup. If data transmissions are interrupted, this archive can be used to recover and process measurements retroactively. This flag is raised when the SD card reports an error state, which may indicate corruption, an incompatible card size, or a failed card that needs to be reformatted or replaced. (Model T only.)
Solution Level 1 (< 5 minutes) 1. On the control box, go to MEMORY=>SD CARD, the State should show the SD card space free and total size. If the State shows error, remove the SD card and insert it into a PC. Go to File Explorer and format the SD card. Re-install the SD card into the control box and go to MEMORY=>SD CARD and verify the State shows the SD card space free and total size.
Solution Level 2 (more involved) 1. Replace the SD card and format the card in either a PC or in the control box by going to MEMORY=>SD CARD=>FORMAT and pressing Valid.
Solution Level 3 (last resort) 1. Return instrument for maintenance.
